Featuring a variety of games such as Snakes & Ladders, Jenga, Carrom and Mahjong, our patients play in groups while utilizing their cognition and building dexterity. Volunteers will assist to porter patients and participate in the games with our patients.

Our pups and their owners are an exciting sight at our hospital. Animal Assisted Activity (AAA) alleviates stress, anxiety and depression, while providing social and emotional benefits for patients. Volunteers can register to support in portering patients and to engage patients.

Seated Taichi is an easy-to-follow and beneficial fitness activity which helps to improve patients’ balance, stability and enhance their range of motion. The exercise consists of slow, graceful movements and deep breathing, guided by our skilled Taichi facilitator.

This activity offers a holistic range of benefits such as emotional support, social engagement and sensory stimulation – all with the company of the cutest furry friends. This programme allows patients an opportunity engage with cats and have an afternoon of purring and meows.

Patients will be guided by our talented calligraphy facilitator and will be able to develop a unique skill through this programme. Volunteers will support the facilitator during the programme by assisting to porter patients and encouraging them during the activity.

Our volunteers work together to provide a seamless hair-cutting experience for our patients - from managing the queue, to pushing them to the hairdressers, giving them a good powder-dusting, to sweeping away hair on the floor. Share the joy with our patients as they leave satisfied with their new and fresh hairdo.
